Even though we are so near Charlotte, you feel as though you are in the country. We love to go to Carowinds, the outlet malls, and of course uptown Charlotte. The lake is just a few blocks away. A good stop is the public- Mcdowell Nature Preserve- where you can fish for free, enjoy trails, and lake picnicking. Likewise, the Whitewater Center- is an amazing facility 15 min from us. You can go white water rafting, canopy zip lining, flat water sports, biking, hiking, and live music. Other exciting things to do near us: Great hiking near us. McDowell nature preserve is right up the road. Copperhead Island for more primitive hiking. 30 min away you can Hike Crowder Mountain that overlooks Charlotte.
